I've got a 6' flexi (only had it a few months) and I want to stack a few of them. Now, I've seen people stack flexis of the same size and I've also seen flexis stacked in increasing sizes. Which is better, or rather what characteristics do each type possess. eg. 3 stacked 6' flexis against a 6' with a 8' above it, or even a 6' 8' 10' combination. Thanks in advance. For: A 6' kite at the bottom of a wider stack helps it turn faster Bigger kites are a more cost effective way of getting more power. Against: Puts abnormal compression/expansion strains on the spars Looks odd (to me, at least) Up to you, really. Do whatever makes you happy. Think about the long term: Would prefer a 6/8/10/12 stack or a 6 and a 3*10 stack? I bought a bunch of 10's. Perhaps a range would have given more variety (cos I could fly them separately)? I don't know. OH NO! Not the penet server! (Ha, Ha - "That's a joke son!" to quote Foghorn Leghorn). Truthfully it is an execelent system. In all seriousness, wellcome to rec.kites. Sometimes you have to go in round about ways to get where you want on Internet. I can't add anything about stacking flexi's outside of, that's a lot of pull! A 10' in a good strong wind is almost enough for me. Maybe you should try a stack of 6 - 4' rok's some day. Thats a load also. -- Steve Cseplo |A| The Mad Hata sc5@prism.gatech.edu |K| AKA Region 4 Director |A| "Hey, mon...Tako Kichi!" = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
