I have recently 'discovered' rec.kites and spent the odd session viewing the archives (the only way I'll get to Hawaii). However I have been unable to find answers to the following problems :- 1. Two weeks holiday in the Auverne(France) at the end of July - are there any local kite stores and kite events? The FAQ list is expansive but unhelpful without a detailed French atlas. 2. Regular business trips to Italy but nothing found in the archives - I'm sure there must be rec.kiters in Italy buying kites, but where from ? Thanks, Andy BTW - Any kite events in NW England? Please email me. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Date: Thu, 7 Jul 1994 11:50:21 -1000 From: andrew@tug.com (Andrew Beattie) Message-Id: Organization: /usr/lib/news/organisation Subject: Re: France and Italy contacts and activities ? Try: Aquilandia, via Aurelia, 95 00165, Roma, Italy tel 39.6.39367846, 39.6.6382779 fax 39.6.6380116 They were host to the first European Kite Boat Regatta - nice people, shame I couldn't go :-( You owe the Kite Oracle a large Italian Pizza with no olives. Andrew -- Kite jumping is for morons. If you want to fly, get a hang-glider. Netiquette-of-the-day: Think twice before posting! You can FTP the kite FAQ's from ftp.hawaii.edu (directory /pub/rec/kites/faq) The FAQ's have lists of kites, kite stores, kite questions, kite books & plans. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
