It's the second kite I've ever built (the first was a diamond stunter). I'm very pleased with it's performance - in a different league to the Powerhouse Dynamo I've flown up to now. I probably have a bit more tuning to do yet though. I have a question: The book also has plans for a Cicada - this is the same kite but 10arger - however, the plans show the stand-offs for the Gizmo and the Cicada in different places. The Gizmo has the stand-offs about halfway along the bottom spreaders and the Cicada has them closer to the spine (about 1/3 of spreader length). Is there a good reason for this? What would happen if I moved the stand-offs on the Gizmo to the 1/3 position instead of the halfway position? -- Mark Shelley mshelley@horeb.demon.co.uk = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
