(1-800-827-6364) Subject: Holiday Windsock For those of you with inquiring minds, "The Endless Kite Summer" windsock is now back in the States, having travelled from Verdun, Montreal, to Hackney in London, and then on to Scheveningen in the Hague, Holland, with Martin Lester. Martin then gave the windsock to me, and it travelled back to Bristol, England, and on 8th - 9th June went to the 4th Welsh International Kite Festival in Monmouth, Wales. (Birthplace of Henry V ?) Next weekend it will be going up to Chicago for the South Suburban Kite Fest, and will be passed on to another travelling kiteflyer, still with the World Cup in Australia as the end destination. Just think, as our summer ends, theirs will just be starting "down-under". With luck, this spinsock may never see snow. Cheers, Stretch = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Date: Wed, 19 Jul 1995 10:29:15 -1000 From: Pina@inforamp.net (Pina Sicari) Message-Id: Organization: InfoRamp Inc. I would like to see it come back home once it's done it's world travel. Since I live in Canada it will at one piont see snow, if only from the window. I do hope that it does make to the World Cup but it would be a treat to see it go to the AKA Nationals and then the World Cup. I will not be able to attend either but the Windsock may. I will make sure that it does keep the summer and vacation spirit once it comes back home. Thanks for the update. I hope that you had a good vacation.
