Junction is a very unique experience in that you have time to actually get to know the other builders and flyers who are there. As usually there were many friends whom I had met at Junction years before and had the pleasure to meet new flyers who were in attendance for the first time. Scott Skinner even taught us to say a few phrases in different languages. Junction is the idea meeting place for kite flyers to remember why they they started flying kites. For most of us it was for fun and the pleasure we obtain from watching our creation fly on the wind. It doesn't matter if it was a $5.00 or $5,000.00 kite the pleasure is the same. I wish to express me gratitude to Bill Lockheart and Betty Street for all there hard work in putting on the Junction Kite Retreat. If you have never attended Junction I highly recommend it to all.
