I't's based on Jim Roland's design, but with some modifications to suit my style. I want a light-weight, low wind kite as a platform for appliquet, so: It's built from 0.75oz Carrington rip-stop instead of balloon fabric. It's bridled in 80lb Spectra (might go down to 50lb next time) The middle three keels are removed, and replaced with a 4-point bridle. I've not had any decent wind to try it in, but it inflates quickly and easily and flies in the lightest of breeze. Now I'm off to work on a rec-kites logo version in 1/2oz Icarex...
