Costs: $10 to register/materials + kite costs (see below) Contact: Ed Hummel @ (519) 578-2456 **ASAP** This will be a *small* group of people with various skill-levels getting together to assist one another in building kites of various designs. We hope to have a few local speakers talk for a few minutes on each of the nights during a "coffee-break". On the first night, we will bring as many kite plans as we can find for people to choose from (bring your own too!) and tentative plans are made to have a kite supplier there to give you prices and/or sell you materials to make your kite. You don't have to buy the materials from him -- you can bring them or order them and have them for the next session if you desire. In any case the first night maybe used to choose a desing, get your templates ready and your materials list formed. Oh yes, and meet others! The $10 costs is going toward the sewing room supplies. The room is booked under conditions that we supply needles, bobbins, bobbin case etc. This money goes for that. *YOU* are responsible for all kite making supplies, ie. fabric, thread, glue?, dacron, etc, etc. If you have any questions, give me a call or email me or contact Ed at the phone number above.
