Note for non-US readers: "Late Night with David Letterman" is a very popular
TV sho on NBC (which is owned by General Electric). Letterman has a running
joke about how much ge dislikes "those GE weasels". The current opening
credits include a very nice computer graphic "movie" of a journey from a
spot near the Sun to New York (kind of like the "Voyager" animations, where
the vehicle is shown passing Jupiter and Saturn). During this, the viewpoint
passes a very nicely rendered kite on the way. That said...
