Subject: London Docklands Indoor Kite Festival Anyone know anything about the London Docklands Indoor Kite Festival? I think it's supposed to be on the 8th October, but I don't know who to contact for more info. Is it worth going to? I've got the Baby Tana and LightCat for indoor flight, if someone can show me how to do it properly! Do you think a Phantom Elite Ultralight would do the job? -- _____ ceci n'est ____ _ pas une _ _ email (__ __) o ______ ( __)( )_ ___ ___ _( )_( )_ ___ ______ (____) (_)(_)()(_) (____)(_)_)(__=)(__=) (_)_(_)_)(___)_(_)()(_) -jim cheetham, DCH Consultancy. http://user.itl.net/~wumpus +44 1481 34068 (24H) +44 1344 472537 (UK day) = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Date: Mon, 2 Oct 1995 21:58:32 -1000 From: felix@fmottram.demon.co.uk (Felix Mottram) Message-Id: Organization: Personal, The Decorators, Waddington Galleries Subject: Re: London Docklands Indoor Kite Festival In article , jim@bra01.icl.co.uk wrote: > Anyone know anything about the London Docklands Indoor Kite Festival? > I think it's supposed to be on the 8th October, but I don't know > who to contact for more info. Stuart Neil is the organiser. Tel. 0171 537 1555, Fax 0171 537 6420. The event does take place on the 8th Oct. and I believe it runs through the whole day! It is a charity event in aid of the Isle of Dogs Community Foundation. A small admission charge, a couple of pounds, Chris Matheson indicated, benefits the charity. There is an attempt on an indoor Rev flying record to follow on from Chris's two line record set last year. There was quite a lot of space available last year prior to the more formal presentations and competitions. -- Felix Mottram Personal The Decorators Waddington Galleries = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
