He was involved in kiteflying in Allhaband. Fighter-kites are very popular in that area. He told me that most accidants happen there, because people fall from the roof of their houses while flying in a battle. These house have often 3-4 floors and the pilots fight from the roofs. Once in a while they get so excited that they tend to forget that a roof has an end.. and they fall down and break some bones or so. He hasn't heard about any accidants involving the lines in that city, but has seen numerous times that people actually fell down from a roof. So, to keep kiting save, don't battle from roofs. By the way, I learned today that most Fighter kites in India are made by the Muslim population of the country. The Hindus seem to be less involved in making the kites. They fly them.
