Yes, In a short brief conversation with Mr. Dermer last night it seems that the votes are in. It was a close race. What with Carl (what's his name) voting several times and all the faxing. (faxing? what do you mean faxing?) You mean I could of faxed in my vote and write in myself as president? I should of done just that, about a few thousand times. Never mind.... Anyway, as the news goes it appears that the new president of the AKA has won by a very small margin. I guess this makes this race one of the closer ones. Wow! Of course Dermer said, 'I'm glad it's over'. Who can blame him what with the bad press I gave him. I wonder if it was me who influenced all you net kiters? Oh, don't answer that, I know it was me. So who is the pres you ask. Well, I could tell you, but this message is probably in your KILL file anyway so it wouldn't make much difference. Then again for those of you who see the message from MRNasty you probably delete it anyway. Then again who's political? Hey, stop using that kind of language here, don't you know their all drunk. (esp. one auctionier at the convention whos name I will not use.) Yes, folks the new and well not really much of an improvement (not) is the one the only fish. My understanding is that, at present, Canadian members are about 90 of the 240 (ish) members in region 13. We worked to the vote out. I'd be curious to know how many Canadian Ballots were cast. Yup, they're not just European votes, but Canadian and Asian too. I'd guess that we had an unusually large (everything being relative) turnout of Japanese votes this time, with a Japanese (more or less) candidate running unopposed. I agree with BugJon that it is ironic that the murrican KF Assn presidency is decided by the non-murrican votes. Now that you bring my attention to it, I recognise that perhaps I feel a stronger tie to the AKA than I do to the KSGB. This is largely due to the fact that I spend more time through this medium with AKA fliers than I do with KSGB fliers. I might live outside your political boundary, but I feel very much part of the organisation. I hope that you don't grudge me my full involvement.
