For example, I see two emerging braking systems. One, I see systems of "spoilers" or aerodynamic drag. Two, I am seeing methods of reducing the effective sail area. The effective area is reduced by replacing areas of the real sail with netting. Actually, reducing the sail area. In boat sailing you do this bt "reefing" the sail. It is only a method of reducing real sail area. I am suggesting the use of the word "spoiler" or "reefing" as generic names for what ever individual "razz-a-ma-tazz" name that will in all probablility become copywrited names for spoilers or reefing systems. Hopefully, the generic name will give the listener some idea of the general type of system being employed to make the kite controllable in high wind. What is your thoughts on this? Keep yo lines tight! Vic = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
