The Nord Cup was conducted in conjunction with the 7. International Drachenfestival Cuxhaven-Altenbruch but was organized seperately. The Nord Cup was the first STACK competition fully organized by STACK Germany. In the past, STACK competition were organized by local or national kite clubs. I must congradulate the National STACK Director Torsten Schmitt also Raimond Dorrow, Joerg Knudsen and all the others involved for there excellant work. The event went off with out any problems, unlike some past events were there were violations of the STACK rule book by the organizers and others. As the new and first pilot's speaker for Germany my job was made very easy. The weather on Saturday was hot and humid with moderate winds. Most precision events were flown on Saturday. On Sunday it was a bit cooler with over-cast skies and the winds were gusting light to strong. The last of the precision and all the ballet events were flown on Sunday.
