Anyone who has competed successfully within their conference may have accumulated enough points to qualify. For your current point totals call the AKA info line. If you have not accumulated enough points through competition you may submit a request to represent Canada in your desired category(s). The second option is just like in 1993. The Canadian Liaisons have the right to qualify one person or team in each category, except in those categories where someone has already qualified by means of points accumulated. As in the past we require a written submission outlining your competitive activities throughout the past year. We will select the most qualified individuals and teams on the basis of the submissions. In preparing your submission be sure to include the following: - one or more desired categories for competition - team name, if any - any competitions entered, in what categories - place in competition, including how many entrants were in your - category (ex. placed 3rd of 12) and how long you have been flying We must have all submissions in our hands by September 10, without exception. All those who make submissions will be contacted shortly after the deadline and informed of their status. Last year everyone who made a request got to compete at the convention, we are hopeful that this will be the case once again. We are available to by phone, fax, or e-mail to receive submissions, and answer questions. We hope that Canada will be well represented at what promises to be a very exciting convention.
