Thanksgiving Buggy Gathering
Ivanpah & Roach Dry Lakes (40 miles south of Las Vegas on I-15)
CA/NV border
Mon. Nov.20 - Sun. Nov.26

For the second year we are gathering at the dry lakes along the CA/NV 
border to buggy during the Thanksgiving holiday. All are welcome, lots of 
space for free buggying and races will probably develop for those 
interested. This is not a organized event, just a fun gathering.

NALSA will be holding their time trials Nov.23-26 so expect to see some 
great landsailing. They will hold the permit for use of 
Ivanpah so we will be using the north end or Roach Dry Lake (look for 
information to be posted at the gate entrance to Ivanpah). Please 
remember that vehicle access to Ivanpah is limited to driving out to the 
designated parking area by passing through the gate and driving only 
between the BLM markers. 

Three casinos offer lodging just north of Ivanpah. Reservations are a 
must during this period. Rates Sun-Wed $19, Thu-Sat $39 (3 day min. for 
Thu. arrivals & 2 day for Fri.). Reservations can be made at 800-367-7383.

Just north (10 min. drive), Nevada Landing 702-387-5000 & Gold Strike 
702-477-5000 casinos offer rooms with no minimum stay for $39.
