Subject: Philadelphia Kite Festival

This festival takes place April 16 & 17 on Belmont Plateau at West Fairmount
Park.  A kitemaking competition, demonstrations, fighter kite competition,
and individual and corporate Rokkaku battles are on the agenda.  The
kitebuilding competition has both novice and experienced categories.
Activities get underway at 10:00AM each day.  On Saturday and Sunday, there
is a kitemaking workshop for children and a kite safety workshop.  In
addition, free stunt kite lessons will be taught all weekend long. The
festival draws a huge crowd of spectators and the corporate Rokkaku battle is
