Ok, this is severely bending, if not breaking the rules of this group... This posting can be viewed 2 ways, either informing potentially interested parties of an opportunity, or just a straight ADVERT !, but since this is a restricted offer to readers of this newsgroup, I will post it anyway... I am manufacturing a batch of Quad-line Handles. These are NOT the same as any other I have seen, but are more similar to Quadrafoil handles than Revolution handles. I have been careful to avoid making a copy of any other commercially available product. I make 2 models, the standard is 300mm (12in) long, with short leaders. The long version is 400mm (16in) with long (2mtr) leaders. These are specifically designed for buggying, if anything gets wrapped around your wheels or axles, it will be the leaders, not your flying lines. Both are gold anodized alloy with black foam grips and colour coded (red and blue) leaders. Obviously a description alone cannot do then justice. These handles are best suited to soft foils intended for power, because the diameter of the foam grips allow you to take a firm hold. While still satisfactory for 4-line stunt kites, they are more chunky than REV style handles, and are not quite as easy to just hold by the fingertips. The retail price from me is as follows: Standard handles: 15 pounds incl P&P within the UK Long handles: 17 pounds incl P&P within the UK If you are interested, send me e-mail at "travell@comics.enet.dec.com" I will reply with the address to send your cheque by snail-mail. Any orders from outside the UK will need to cover the extra cost of international parcel post. They are also available via the kiteshop web page : http://www.kiteshop.co.uk/ or from the "Ocean Kites" shops in the UK, obviously at whatever price the shops choose to charge. Other trade enquiries will be more than welcome. John Travell. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
