Seems you gave him plenty of room, considering the number
of people at a flyin.  Unfortunately, there will sometimes
be people of that nature in any sport.  I agree with George
that there is NEVER any reason to buzz someone.  Great bodily
harm could come of it, even a lawsuit!

Glad you weren't hurt.  Could you post more about the flyin?
There are several people here in central Iowa who fly, and a 
flyin would be a way to gather such a group together.
