I'm planning to build me a Raaseri. (Popular plan found on the net) But,... there are some details which are not yet fully clear to me: 1) what is this Shunt leg and how is it attached and where 2) are there 2 or more standoff's used ? If so, where ? 3) they speak about using a piano wire for tensioning. Where is it used ? And how do you attach it. Ok, I'm a newbie in building kites but this raaseri is a challenge for me. Any help very much appreciated. Thanks in advance -------------------------- Brussels University Pleinlaan 2 Computer Center VUB/ULB (VUBnet) Ing. The position is shown in picture RAASERID.PS /.GIF >2) are there 2 or more standoff's used ? If so, where ? There is one stand-off on each side, located at the tip of panel 3. >3) they speak about using a piano wire for tensioning. Where is it used > And how do you attach it. The piano wire is used just as a tool for inserting the tensioning line into the seem of the trailing edge. I used a stiff nylon line, which worked as well.
