Subject: Rec-Kiters at A.K.A. convention

Are rec-kiters planning on some sort of meeting at the A.K.A. convention
at Wildwood in October? A sign in board, or something along those lines
might be good. I would like to place the faces along with the names. Any
suggestions?

I've seen your face Dean and I agree..... ;-) But you get used to it

Yeah. Having Dean's face at festivals is likely to scare off all but the
most hardened kite fliers. Just having him speed by in a buggy isn't a very
good solution - it just means that more people see him. I hear that the
problem was solved recently - wait till he's sat in his buggy with his kite
flying, and put a big paper bag over his head. Reportedly, this is a major
improvement and appreciated by all.

Kite jumping is for morons. If you want to fly, get a hang-glider.
Netiquette-of-the-day: Think twice before posting!
You can FTP the kite FAQ's from ftp.hawaii.edu (directory /pub/rec/kites/faq)
It is generally accepted that the ravings of Frank Kenisky should be ignored.
