How many day trippers do we have and which days? Does anybody get up in time for breakfast or should I just bring chocolate chip cookies? No name tags and no t-shirts unless you make your own. First meeting: Friday night, starting at 7:30 pm at Picante Tacqueria on Sixth Street near Gilman in Berkeley (map at end of posting). Mexican food, bar (beer only?), can be noisy (not us). I don't know how you'll figure out who's a rec.kiter ... I'll think of something ... I'll bring a *little* windspinner on a stick and tie it to the back of a chair. Second meeting: Saturday, 12 noon, back of the judges' tent. Third meeting: Sunday 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Let's gather around Dan Rubesh the Wind Wizard and watch the Masters' Individual Ballet. Flags and banners will not be allowed directly in back of the competition fields so that camcorders will have a clear view of the kites, so look for some little/short flag with an @ sign.
