Hi, Larry.

If you mean, "How do I post a reply to something I've read on
rec.kites", look at your news reader's menus for something labelled
"Followup" or similar. While you are viewing the message that you
want to post the reply to, select the Followup item.

If you mean, "How can I send a private email to someone who wrote
something on rec.kites", look at the news reader menus for something
labeled "Reply via email" or similar. Again, while reading the
message, select the Reply item.

Note that different news readers have different options. If you let
us know what you're using, maybe someone can give you specific
instructions.

On the other hand, if you're getting rec.kites via email by way of
Marty Sasaki's server, then things are different. Let us know.

the 1st Reader is the running on Compudata.bbs. The 1st reader
works nice, but to reply other than through a new message it will go

Brett, I sent you a reply . It was concerning the Reply. I use 1st
Reader from Sparkware. And address is at Compudata.bbs.
Internet address is ussnet!larry.peters@compudata.com I am a little
desturbed that my original answer did not get there-if it did please
let me know . I was told by the Sysop that if they are not directed
at the (YOUR) address it would fail and I have seen this happen.
So I put in all the details as to- TO:hbact003@huey.csun.edu
to Brett Jaffee. The upload was confermed by transmit BUT
when I went for the download ALL of the messages were gone!
Just some Jiberish! I do not think that the information could fail
-it did, for several others also! Hope you get this . Re
