Subject: REQ: How to make a kite Noisier!

I know this is a little unusual, but someone in "my" kite club wants to make
their dual line kite noisier. He realizes this is unusual but oh well....

I have heard of things called "hummers" I believe, but are supposedly for
single line kites.

Is there some way of attaching ripstop or whatever, in such a way as to
create noise?

I said it was unusual....

Errr.... Almost Certainly..... Errrr.... Your problem is probably going to be
tension. In general, the looser the sail, the more noise. Replace strategic
spars with shorter ones ? Dunno what'll happen to the performance though !:)
Perhaps a very thin strip of ripstop from wingtip to spine to wingtip ?
Depends on precise geometry of kite though. If hes got standoffs, make a
shorter set. Let us know what happens with this one !
