Would any experienced Revolution pilots out here happen to know how the
Revolution I, 1.5, II, and Backtracker compare?

At the Chicago Sport Kite Festival recently, I had a chance to try a Rev.II
and while I didn't get enough time to become proficient (having never flown
a quadline before), I did get a small sample and knew that I'm going to
simply love the Rev. Now I want to buy one but the prices are as high as
the kites!!! That is, except for the Backtracker...which I've heard is a
really terrible flyer, needs lots of wind, and in general, isn't worth the
lower cost.

Is any of this true? Which Rev. Is best?

Best Rev?

IMHO>>>>>>>>>>>1. 1.5
                               2. I
                               3. II
                               4. BT

Have all, but most recent and furious flying has been with Rev 1.5. But as
with all things, you make the call. Needs to fit into your style, $$, wind
conditions, and field space.

Could you please fill in the following table for the criteria you've listed:

                  Style $$$ Wind Line
Rev 1.5
Rev I
Rev II
BackTracker

Additional comment welcomed. Stacking? Fun? Level?
Thanks!

Johnny :P

Thanks, I'll be sure to keep that in mind. I'm going to try for a 1.5 but
if the funds aren't there, I'll opt for the Backtracker...particularly in
view of the positive comments out here about it recently. But I still want
a 1.5 though.
