Subject: SAN DIEGO KITE CLUB- October mtg (2nd posting)

(Note:  This is the second posting of this message)

The San Diego Kite Club will have its Annual Halloween Kite Fly and Fun &
Games on October Saturday October 21.  The meeting will be at the usual
"South of the Hilton" on Mission Bay Drive off I-5 @ Sea World Drive.  Hot
dogs & such will be provided by the club.  This event is geared towards
children and adults who act as such.  Festivities scheduled will be a
candy drop, kite tail chasing for prizes, costume contest, and anything
else we can think of.  

The fun starts around noon and a "formal" meeting begins about 1:00.

After the events, the Southern California Syndicate (for lack of any name
at this time) will hold its second meeting regarding the newly scheduled
sport kiting events in Southern California.

Upcoming in November will be a Fighter Kite Seminar with Vic Heredia, with
most likely a mini-fighter kite challenge to follow.

Clear your calendars for January 1, 1996 for SDKC's New Year's Day Fly. 
This will be the grandest to date.  If there are any manufacturer's or
retailer's who would like to help sponsor this event, please E-mail.  A
donation of a kite will get you a space on our T-shirt.
