Anyway, he is a nice guy! Scott Spencer will be one of the presenters at this year's Maryland K ite Society winter retreat where he will present the woven ripstop program he gave at the AKA National's this year. The featured speaker this year will be Martin Lester, who will lead the group in the construction of the top half of the soccor player. Other presenters scheduled at this time are Jon Burkhardt, Steve and Tony Ferrel, Bill Kocher, Pete Rondeau, and Kevin Shannon. As usual, the retreat is scheduled for the 3 day President's Day Weekend in February. New this year will be the Mid-Atlantic Regional Kite (MARK) Banquet. This is open to all kite groups/clubs and kite fliers in the area. For banquet tickets alone, the price is $25 which includes all taxes and gratuities. For further info on the retreat, contact either Adam Grow at 301 949-9078 or Pete Rondeau at 717 624-9434.
