This will be the first two liner I've built (and only the second kite I've built). It's a Rogallo shape thanks to fibreglass rod in tension on the trailing edge and its supposed to be completely silent in flight. It has a sail area of 0.43 sq metres (4.6 sq ft) by my calculations. I already have a Delta of about this size (Scarab by Mullin Kites) which, although fun, needs at least 5mph winds to get aloft. I was thinking of multiplying all the S.K. dimensions by 1.4142 to double the area to 0.86 sq metres (9.3 sq ft). and so get a kite that would fly in lighter winds. Has anyone built the kite as shown in the book? If so whats its performance like? Any tips on construction? What do you think of my plan to double the area? -- John Grannells * If things dont change, * * they'll only stay the same * = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
