The highlight of the day is when I saw flying what I thought to be at the beginning a Peel (Never seen a Peel before except in a magazine ;-)). I couldn't believe the behaviour: a soft kite being so powerful and so nice in the air, solid flight, steady, and most of all: the shape staying in form like if you had a solid structure in it (the most impressive for me). I went straight to see the guy, when he told me that it was not a Peel but a Sygma >From Germany (anybody heard of them?) but it was in fact very similar to a Peel... The price is still very expensive for me ( around two hundreds pounds for a 3.6m) and usually I prefer to make my kites, but since I have seen this one, my dream is to make one!!! I think it will be a tough challenge but worth it!! 1) Has anybody tried to make one, and is there any plans around?? 2) If you think of traction, what would be the minimum overall size to start with 1.80m? 2.80m? 3.60m? 5.0m??? 3) If you have one size, how do you scale it up? all dimensions? profiles as well? Lot of questions...as usual..;-) Luc ---- Luc Marchand CamScan Ltd Cambridge, UK luc@camscan.co.uk = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
