Subject: Stacking 10- and 8-feet flexi together

I bought a new 10 feet flexifoil and I want to stack this one with
my old 8-feet flexi. What's the best distance between the two kites?
I've got plenty of kevlar stacklines.

/Sven

Normal stacking lines for flexis (well what I use anyway) are two thirds the
length of the kite. Approx 5' for 8' flexis & 6' for 10' flexis. I have always
used the staking lines for the top kite of each pair when stacking ie 6' for
and 8' & a 10' together. I am sure someone like Andrew Beattie will know the
exact lenght but I just tried to find a tape measure to measure up my lines for
my 8' flexi and can't find one.

I have found that a ten and an eight seem to turn faster and they do fly well
together. Have fun.

Try 6'.. I use 4' spacing for my 6' Flexis and 6' for my 8 and 10's..
If it doesn't behave like you think it should, try something different..

It's very much a matter of taste. The best thing is to mark your lines
at 1-foot intervals and experiment. I preferred my 6x10' to be as tight
together as possible and would generaly stack at 4' intervals. With a
progressive stack your mileage may vary considerably.
