I'm new to posting on rec.kites but here goes...thought this would be of
interest.

13th Annual Sunfest Kite Festival Sept 21-25 in Ocean City,Maryland...
"The Kite Capital of The World"

Kite Games, some not-so-serious fun competition, 2 dinners hosted by
The Kite Loft, a fighter kite battle, The 4th Annual Rokkaku Kite
Challenge with a $1000.00 first place prize (2nd-$250, 3rd-$100) and
a Champagne Kite Auction on Sunday.


Pre-registration is required for the Rokkaku battle.  Teams may be
comprised of 2 or more individuals, you must provide your own kite, no
cutting line allowed and AKA challenge rules apply.  Registration fee
is $35.00,deadline is September 15, 1994. Call 410-289-7855 or write The
Kite Loft P.O. Box 551 Ocean City MD 21842 . Take on the two time
champions, The Maryland Kite Society.

Sunfest is great fun...fantastic single line displays and plenty of
room for dual and quad lines!
