  He was right, and I'll gladly acquiesce on the point, as he has phrased it.
(See, Marty?  It'aint like the old days anymore!)  He's right; we should 
discuss things like this in this conference.

  I think the point that I was trying to make is that if one wants to make a
"real" change - that is to get rules, weightings, guidelines changed - then
they should volunteer for "real" work on some of the AKA/other committees.
Put another way, we can discuss it all we like in here, and people who are
involved in organized kiting can take the fruits of these discussions to the
proper forum, but what we really need in order to effect change is more
volunteers!
