I realize that I can be a bit harsh, cruel even "NASTY" at times, but like I said before I posted a thread this past spring and wanted to discuss the AKA Ranking system. I made a few personal opinionated comments regard- ing some of the "Board" members. When I was attacked about syntax and defending characters and other crap, then I felt the only way to fight fire is with more fire. I can get as adhoc as the next person. This is not a threat, as you know I can get mean. I realize it doesn't get me anywhere but then again I don't need friends like that. I'm not a political person. I don't want fame or fortune. I do look for fairness. It is a shame that something as seemingly peaceful as kiting has to be so complicated. I do not try to make things difficult. I try to work things out. I appreciate your current interest in this discussion. It is becoming apparent that there are others who are also interested. I would like to provide you with one bit of advice. (I know, I know, who the hell am I to be giving adivce.) First - Don't post anything that is not common knowledge. If you do you are responsible for what you say. I know that sounds like an oximoron coming from me. What I mean is the statement you made regarding the Olympic Committee was, according to Brooks, incorrect. Although you may defend what you said in part, it was interperted by me and others as doctrine. Second - I know many AKA Board members would like it if I were to get run over by a garbage truck but the fact remains that as long as I'm here I will be looking over someones shoulder. I am not a mean person, but I can get ugly. I appreciate you sticking to the subject. Listen to the contestants not to other board members! Third - Make the Board responsible. I know that means political suscide, but it is important to the future of the membership of the AKA. Fourth - Look to make the system FAIR first and foremost. That should be the priority, not submitting the results to the Olympic Committee. Just though I'd share that with you, what you do with it is certainly up to you. I hope you can be the best person in your position. Don't make this attempt futile. Please. Mr.Nasty Forgot what your e-mail address was. I don't write it down. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
