Several people answered that Lawrence Hargrave is pictured on 
the Australian $20 bill. Good job! One person even noted that another 
aviation pioneer was shown on the other side of the bill. Corey Jensen 
brought several of these bills, autographed  by  a descendant of
 Hargraves, to the AKA auction this year. 

Some also noted that Hargraves born in the UK but an immigrant 
to New South Wales - Australia) was so honored for inventing the 
box kite. So this makes Hargraves the answer for both questions 
#11 and #12.

Incidentally, when Hargraves "invented" the box kite, he 
refused to pattent it so that others could benefit from his work.
