I have been told that Mark Harris from Nebraska wrote the funniest kite article I have read. This article was written in 1993 while he was in Australia on exchange. It was faxed anonomously and has caused not chuckles, but really gut wrenching hoots of laughter from almost everyone who has read it. It is possible that this article has now been printed in the States as a copy was passed that way earlier this year. I would like to check that he did in fact write the article, and if he minds if I post it to Internet. It is a rare gem of an article, demonstrating an incredibly damaged psyche, and an urgent need for the author to seek treatment for a seriously bent sense of humour... to quote a short extract..... "Kiters compete there to strict rules, bloody strict, I tell you. We have our own rule book, and its strict. Everybody flies strictly to win and theyre serious, and its hard to win because of the strictness, so as you can see, its a very serious strict sport, its not some light hearted little thing. Theres no fun in having fun,........" Samuel Beckett.... eat your heart out..... Anyway, if anyone knows an email address or phone or fax number, please let me know. Thanks.
