What is correct? **** Response from Ron Reich follows: **** The following is a suggested method of adjusting the fly line lengths for the Revolution Quadline Kites. This method will allow independent adjustment of the top and bottom lines to suit individual control preferences. 1. Attach a 12 inch long knotted tassle to the top and bottom of each handle. The knots can be at any spacing that suits your preference. I use about 1 inch between knots. The spacing of the knots should be consistent for both handles. 2. Attach the appropriate fly lines at the center knot of each tassle. 3. Position the kite "Leading edge Down" straight down wind. 4. Gently pull on both handles to remove the slack from the lines. 5. Slowly, and equally, rotate the handles so as to point the tops of the handle toward the kite. The effect will be to move the points of the trailing edge of the kite toward you. This is the action required to execute an inverted launch. 6. Make adjustments in the attachment points of the fly lines to the tassles such that the kite will just lift off the ground when the tops of the handles are pointed toward the kite. If the kite lifts off of the ground when the handles are only pointing part way toward the kite, then the kite may have trouble with one side flipping inside during normal flight. Certainly with more experience you can make additional adjustments to suit your personal preference.
