Good choice. Very attractive and entertaining kites. >2) ..."Bridle rings toward the top of the kite for stronger winds, or toward the tail for lighter winds". The manufacturers information should hold preference to others. However, all kites have a "sweet spot" for optimum bridle position recommended by the manufacturer. Adjustments up or down will normally reduce the pull of the kite. Adjustments up will slow the turning of the kite while adjustments down will cause the kite to be more responsive. Trial and error will be the best test to determines the setting for you personal preference. >3) This kite has a very long tail.... I prefer trilby kites in a train of six with long tails. spectators are very impressed with the action of the tails, and the general esthetics. I usually recommend that all kite flyers have a collection of kites in their bag which include: 1. a train of 6 kites with long tails 2. a delta (about 8 ft wing span) 3. a Flexifoil 4. a Revolution 5. and a collection of single line kites including a fighter. With this type of variety in your bag you will never get board at the kite field and you will always have something to share with a fellow kite flyer that may not be as well outfitted.
