Sewing thread

A good quality polyester or nylon thread is best. Standard weight
works well. Don't get thread that is used in sergers, it is not strong
enough and is too stretchy for use in kites. Many kite makers around
New England use Metrosene thread. I buy nylon thread in bulk...
