Additional Comments
- I have not used a connector between spine and head spar; this avoids much additional work and the kite still flies very well
- The guylines prevent the head from swinging like a rudder; but they should not be connected to the neck as it is indicated in the plan. They should be connected to a small ripstop loop at the back of the head.
- Do not try to exactly copy the reinforcements for which the detailed dimensions are given in the plan. Just use reinforcement like you think it is necessary.
- We have added an additional line from the tow point at the keel to the place on the leading edge, where the spreader is attached.
- We have attached the legs spreader with a velcro strip to the point where it crosses the spine instead of using a fixed tunnel. This facilitates the setting up of the kite.
- In strong winds, the trailing edge produces some noise. A leach line could help to avoid this (not yet tested!).
- The spreader should somehow be better connected to the leading edge. Maybe I will try and use a fixed connection between spreader and leading edge spar as it is used with any other stunt kite
