You can't describe it, but as soon as you find it, you'll know it.

The most Aoxomoxoa moment I experienced (at least while kiting) until now was an evening on Fanoe '96. We have been to the official welcome party (nice event, thanx to all who organised it) and met several interesting and friendly kiters from (nearly) all over the world. We learned to know Bob and Charmain and as they brought their Pterosauri (sp?) to Fanoe as well as Bernhard and I did, we decided to go to the beach and let them fly together. The wind was perfect (not too strong as most of the time during the festival) and we just missed the sunset. Therefore the sky was very impressing, ranging from bright orange to darkest blue with some stars beginning to shine. The beach was nearly empty, so it was very calm and we assembled the 4 Pterosauri and put them into the sky. WOW, I'm sure that in this moment, everyone in the group (about 10 kiters) experienced tons of AOXOMOXOA, even if they don't know the name for it. The 4 birds drifting in front of the sunset was a picture of perfect harmony and peace.

There have been lots of AOXOMOXOA moments in my 5 or 6 years of kiting. As I do all the kiting, kite-building and buggying just for fun with passion but without too much enforced ambition, I experience AOXOMOXOA quite often by watching a nice kite flying, by flying a new kite for the first time, while cruising in the buggy, and during all those moments when I realise that I have choosen the right hobby.
