Hm - strange... This small thing in the sand looks exactly like the bolt which holds together the whole camera cradle...

This is the first picture I took using a kite to lift my camera. The kite is a 7m^2 Parasled. The camera was a Canon T90 attached to the kiteline in a rather simple cradle (manual tilt and rotation) with modified walky-talkies to operate the shutter.
The picture shows the house we rented on Fanoe with Bernhard, Lisa, Emiel, Martin, Harry and me starring up in order not to miss the moment when the camera seperates from the lifting device (fortunately, she didn't do that).
I was quite satisfied with the first picture and took some more on the beach of Fanoe (will publish them sooner or later) and I currently plan to build a better cradle with 2-axis remote control, a picavet system and all the other sexy features.
