I use a modifeld flat-fell sea. It's easy to sew accurately.

First, place right side to right side and sew the pieces together.

        sew here -----\
                      |
                      V

Open the seam out flat and fold over to one side.

                      ||
----------------------/\-------------------

Fold the fabric under, and stitch.

   stitch here----\
                  |
                  V

With a little practice, the seam is quick and easy to sew.
