Try pouring boiling hot water over the joint and then try to separate it. Be very careful not to burn yourself. Maybe you should wear gloves if you try this. This approach should work if the joint is stuck just because it is jammed together. OPTION 2. Apply a few drops of penetrating oil to the joint and let it soak for about 30 minutes and then try to separate the joint. This approach should work if the joint is stuck because of slight corrosion.
