Single Line flying a Flexifoil. 1990 >How is that done? Both ends of a single line about 100 feet long are attached to the normal line attachment points. In very light wind, he grips the lines about 1 foot from the kite. He is standing between the lines. He then launches the kite and manipulates it by allowing the lines to slide through his hands. He can pull in line and let out line at will. This extra line allows him to Flip the Flexifoil at any time and with it flying in any direction. ie up, down, sideways, etc. When he has let out all of the line, the bite is around behind his back. He uses this technique to create an emotional interpretation of a musical selection. He is actually dancing with the kite in a very impressive ballet.
